Daily Devotional: Don't Worry...Worship!

Prayer Starter: God, I will not worry. Instead, I choose to worship You. You are great and mighty, and I know that my needs are met because of Your goodness and love for me.

Psalm 34:9 You who are the Lord's holy ones, honor him, because those who honor him don't lack a thing.

We talked about his in Sunday school this week. When I wake up in the middle of the night I have started praying about what my mind is worrying over and I often drop quickly back to sleep. Used to I would lay awake for hours trying to go back to sleep.

Good word and no doubt fear is the opposite of faith which is why God says to have faith!

That faith is our outward expression of our inward belief. Thanks for the little boost and reminder (always a good thing)

Peace

Than, worry must be a problem with our readers here because two posts on worry at the same time. Coincidence nope God incidence!

Hi Mike,

We go to a church were the music is jingo jango, bingo bango.

But last night we ended with "How Great Thou Art" - slow, and with no instruments.

I did finally let go of the bitter events of the day and week, and simply worship.
