More Roses From My Yard
Again, I don't know the true name of these roses, but it is a pretty yellow and has a wonderful smell.
All four roses (three types) come from my yard.
I think this is a Joseph's coat. It is the only one that was selected for looks. The other four in my rose bed were selected for their fragrance.
This one bloomed first and didn't last long enough to make it into the vase.

How beautiful. I only have red roses blooming right now. The white ones are threatening and the Peonies smell heavenly.
Roses already? It was 35 degrees here yesterday, and it is threatening to get up to the 60s today. We never know how to dress from day to day.
Than, did you know that for years they were breeding the scent out of the roses because of so many allergies? Of course, they're breeding them back in now, but trying to control the amount of the scents. Me, there's nothing more beautiful than a rose and that distinct smell. I have a great place for planting roses, but the bushes which are growing in that spot just keep coming back year after year and I don't have the heart to uproot them, LOL
Great photos. Thank you for sharing.
Juli: That doesn't suprise me. Beautiful flowers are great, but they need the fragrance to complete the package.
Than, my wife has some red roses blooming right now and they are so pretty!
